Bookings & Service
All prices quoted are in pounds Sterling and include VAT.
- Bookings made via our website or via telephone are deemed to have been made when final confirmation of the booking has been sent via email.
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- Portside Meet & Greet limited reserves the right not to accept or fulfil a booking.
- Prices quoted can be subject to change.
- We confirm any payment information given to Portside Meet & Greet will not be distributed to any other organisation under any circumstance.
- Whilst every effort is made to ensure that collections and deliveries of vehicles are made at the requested times Portside Meet & Greet does not accept any responsibility for delays of its service caused as a result of circumstances beyond its control, such as traffic congestion, delayed cruises, security alerts etc.
- Full payment of the booked service is due prior to the commencement of the service.
Cancellation and Curtailment
- A booking may be cancelled up to 24hrs prior to the date and time for which the service has been booked and a full refund minus a £20.00 administration charge will be made. If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours no refund will be made.
- No-Shows will not be refunded.
- The service booked date shall be deemed to commence at the collection date and time specified when the booking was made.
- Any customer wishing to curtail the length of our service once it has commenced will be liable to pay the fee for the whole period booked.
- Alterations to sailing times- Portside Meet & Greet monitors departure dates and sailing times. We will automatically alter a customer’s booking to any new time and date announced by a cruise operator.
- In the unlikely event that you should wish to collect your vehicle prior to your scheduled return date, at least 24 hours’ notice is required to arrange collection. No refunds will become due on any ‘unused’ portion of any parking already paid.
Liability
- Our insurance covers all legal liabilities on Portside Meet & Greet’s behalf.
- Vehicles and contents within the vehicle are left at the owner’s risk whilst the vehicle is parked.
- The customer confirms that they are the owner of the vehicle or have the power to deal with the vehicle as if they were the owner.
- Claims for damage will not be considered unless reported to a Portside Meet & Greet representative immediately upon the return of the vehicle. Once the car has left our care and control no claims will be considered.
- We accept no liability for the mechanical, structural or electrical failure of any part of the vehicle including windscreens, alarms, immobilisers, glass, flat batteries, tyres and wheels however they have been caused.
- Portside Meet & Greet accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to the vehicle whatsoever unless proven to be caused by the negligence, wilful act or default breach of statutory duty of the employees of the company.
- In the event of any claim, the amount payable shall not exceed £5000.00 per claim.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits Portside Meet & Greet for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the employees.
- Portside Meet & Greet reserves the right for its servants or agents or any relevant Police Authority to move or remove any vehicle to safeguard any person or property against injury or damage or in the event of an actual or perceived threat to security and to remove vehicles which are, or appear to be, stolen or abandoned.
- Portside Meet & Greet Limited will not accept any liability for damage to the vehicles arising from circumstances beyond its control including acts of nature, terrorism, war, riots and flooding.
- Your vehicle must have valid tax and M.O.T. If any fines are incurred due to not having the correct documentation then you will be liable for any penalties received.
- You must ensure you leave the correct keys with the Portside Meet & Greet representative on the day of collection including any relevant alarm fobs and immobilisers
Law
- If any provision of these terms is found by any court to be wholly or partly illegal, invalid or unenforceable, unfair or unreasonable then it shall be deemed severable from the remaining provisions which will continue in full force and effect.
- These Terms are governed by the law of England & Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England & Wales.
